Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician Manager

Microsoft operates a global network of data centers that host cloud services and enterprise solutions. In Hyderabad, the Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end logistics of hardware and related assets within the facility. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking the lifecycle of servers, storage devices and networking equipment, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring that assets are stored, deployed and retired according to operational standards. Daily tasks include supervising a team of technicians, conducting regular audits, using asset management software, liaising with procurement and engineering teams, and troubleshooting discrepancies in stock levels. The position suits candidates with solid experience in logistics or inventory control, preferably in a data‑center or large‑scale IT environment, who can demonstrate strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to lead a small technical team.
