Brex is an intelligent finance platform that provides corporate cards, banking, and spend management software to businesses globally. As a Developer Support Specialist, you will act as the primary technical point of contact for external developers integrating with the company's API suite. Your daily responsibilities involve troubleshooting technical issues, advising developers on best practices, and creating self-service resources such as documentation and guides to improve the user experience. You will serve as a bridge between external partners and internal engineering, product, and design teams, triaging complex escalations and ensuring that developer feedback is effectively integrated into future product iterations. Additionally, you will manage escalations related to various ERP integrations like NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Workday. This internship is well-suited for individuals early in their engineering career who possess strong debugging skills and a customer-centric mindset. Successful candidates will be able to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication while maintaining high standards for support and problem resolution. Prior experience in a customer-facing role and familiarity with accounting software integrations are highly valued for this position.

Responsibilities Provide direct technical support to developers using Brex’s APIs. Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to capture developer feedback. Attend or own calls with customer escalations and manage email queues. Develop self‑service training material, resources, and guides. Field technical escalations from Support and follow engineering tickets to resolution. Own escalations for Brex’s integrations such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, and others. Requirements Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills. Strong customer‑centric attitude and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly. Experience in a customer‑facing role, not necessarily technical. Eligibility Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
