full-timeProduct Operations Manager
Checkr · Denver, Colorado, United States; San Francisco, California, United States
Checkr is a data platform that provides AI‑driven background‑check and verification services for companies hiring, renting, or otherwise assessing individuals. The Product Operations Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑priority product programs, coordinating early‑access pilots through general availability and post‑launch monitoring. Responsibilities include building integrated program plans with clear scope, milestones and success metrics; running quarterly and annual product planning cycles with product, design and engineering leaders; defining and tracking product KPIs and operational SLAs; and creating agentic workflows using AI tools such as Claude Skills and Cowork to improve engineering velocity. The role also owns cross‑department initiatives like internal tool rollouts and process templates, turning retrospectives into better defaults. Ideal candidates have four or more years in product operations, technical program management, product management or business operations, preferably at a technology firm handling sensitive or regulated data. They should have a proven record of managing complex, multi‑quarter launches, building repeatable roadmap and prioritization systems, and communicating concise, decision‑ready updates to senior stakeholders. Experience with AI‑enabled tooling and familiarity with B2B SaaS, phased rollouts or compliance frameworks such as FCRA, GDPR or CCPA is a plus.
